Earlier Sites rebuilt

Not every post has to be about websites, but that sure is the nature of it at the beginning of a project like this.  In putting this site in place, I've thought about what to do with previous content that I had up. One option would be to merge it into this site, with or without its own template. For some older content, however, this wouldn't be ideal -- here I am thinking of pages that were designed to be lightweight, and have a very web one-point-oh feel to them. For the most part, they were hand-coded, when XHTML/strict was not even a consideration.  So, eventually these two new subdomains will get linked into this site's menu system, but will remain distinct:

MPTS.templaro.com:  For the Mary Poppins and the Teeth of Satan website.  MTPS came in second in the 2002 NASCRAG competition at GENCON, and in the heat of the moment, this site was created.  The site resided at IO.COM until 2005.

netscut.templaro.com: During med school and residency, everyone writes down Things To Remember, pearls, miscellaneous trivia, etc. The result is a white coat with giant, overstuffed, pockets. I wanted to put everything onto a palm pilot as static web pages. Over the years, the site grew to a few hundred pages. I also wrote a number of programs to automate some tasks like drafting patient admission orders and figuring out height and weight percentiles. The site started at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (1995-1997), moved to Georgetown University (1997-2003) and then parts of it lived for a while at IO.COM.  Now the whole site has been restored here.  Parts of the site have fallen out of date, and I've even trimmed a few pages, but most of the site is still relevant.
